Raquel Appiah is an emerging actress making a striking debut in a one-woman play, Ellipsis, at the Chelsea Theatre this autumn. Bringing a diverse background in theatre, TV, film, and commercials, Raquel is poised to captivate audiences with her dynamic performance.
Before pursuing full-time acting, she established a successful career in Private Banking. She then channelled her passion for fashion and business into launching her online African fashion brand, Nueki, and built a portfolio of properties in London.
Her impressive theatrical work includes standout roles in the short film Loyalty or Lies, a BAFTA qualifying selection for the British Urban Film Festival, and Chidinma, as well as compelling supporting roles in feature films such as The Waitand Blackmail On stage, Raquel has showcased her talent in lead and supporting roles in Off West-End productions such as Family Secrets, Another Biafra, and a Hampstead Garden Suburb Theatre adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
In the commercial sphere, she has collaborated with prominent brands including Cadbury, Primark x Disney, Haliborange, Wise, Barclays, Gov UK, Sky, Currys, Johnson & Johnson, Samsung, and the NHS.
Raquel is currently represented by Bonnie & Betty for commercials and seeking representation in theatre, film and TV.
